iPhone and Android

Change phones without starting over.

Your training lives on your Stay Ready account, not on your handset. Sign in on the new phone and it is already there: the same history, the same program, the same numbers.

What comes with you

  • Workout history

Every session, every set, every PR.

  • Programs and mesocycles

Your current block picks up where it left off.

  • Nutrition logs and targets

Foods, recipes, and the targets you are working to.

  • Body metrics and progress photos

Weight, measurements, and your photo timeline.

  • Horsepower score

The whole history, not just today's number.

  • Your subscription

Premium follows the account. More on that below.

How to move

  1. 01

Finish syncing on the old phone

Open Stay Ready while you still have the old device and let it settle for a few seconds. Anything logged offline goes up then. This is the step people skip.

  2. 02

Install Stay Ready on the new phone

App Store or Google Play. Do not create a new account. That is the part that costs people their history.

  3. 03

Sign in the same way you signed in before

Same method, same address. If you used Sign in with Apple on iPhone, look for it on Android too, or read the warning below before you use Google.

The one thing that can go wrong

We match your account by your sign-in identity and your email address. If you sign in on the new phone in a way that produces a different address, we cannot tell it is you, and you land in a brand-new, empty account.

This happens most often with Apple's Hide My Email. If you used it when you first signed up, Apple gave us a private relay address rather than your real one. Signing in with Google on an Android phone then presents a different address, and the two do not connect.

So: use the same sign-in method on both phones. Sign in with Apple works on Android, and Google works on iPhone. If you have already ended up in an empty account, do not start logging in it. Email [email protected] and we will reconnect you to your history.

Subscription

What happens to what you paid for

Premium is attached to your Stay Ready account, not to the phone or the app store. Sign in on the new device and your access is there. You do not buy it twice, and a lifetime unlock stays a lifetime unlock.

Billing is the part that stays behind. A subscription bought through Apple is always managed and cancelled in your Apple account, and one bought through Google in Google Play, even after you have moved to the other platform. If you want the billing to move too, cancel in the old store at the end of your period and resubscribe in the new one.

Differences

What is genuinely different between the two

The apps are built to match. Two honest differences worth knowing before you move:

  • 01Health data. iPhone reads sleep, weight, and nutrition from Apple Health and writes workouts back to your rings. Android reads sleep, weight, workouts, steps and heart rate from Health Connect and writes your workouts back; it does not read nutrition. Historical health data does not transfer between the two. That is Apple and Google's boundary, not ours. Your Stay Ready data is unaffected.
  • 02Device-level setup. Things you configured for the phone itself (notification preferences, and any bar or equipment setups you tuned) are worth a look on the new device. It is a couple of minutes, once.
